Operated Dish Network equipment with HD-PVR & IR blaster for years with no issue. Had to drop Dish when they dropped sports channels. Now using Directv's latest HS-17 tower with wireless mini-Genies. Can get 'watch tv' working with '/bin/true' in channel changer script line in 'imput connections' for the hd-pvr. can't figure a script to change channels ... Don't know if the ir blaster should be used on the mini Geni or USB on the mini-Geni or HS-17 tower. There's a script for older Directv equipment but it doesn't seem applicable to the current equipment.
Anyone mastered this and have some pointers ? ...
