I had a problem where my ATI Remote Wonder remote was not working correctly after installing R6.02. Besides most buttons not working, the obvious symptom was that the device /dev/lirc0 was not getting created. Based on input from this page Code: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/X10 I modified these two lines in /etc/rc.conf Code: MOD_BLACKLIST_=($ALSABLACKLIST !snd-pcsp !ati_remote)
MODULES=($MOD_BLACKLIST_ lirc_atiusb) to add the !ati_remote on the MOD_BLACKLIST line and add lirc_atiusb to the MODULES line. Now it seems to be working. Hope this helps someone else. |
