I just upgraded my production box from R5.5 to R6.01. Is pacman -Syu still valid on R6.01 systems or will it try to upgrade to R6.02. I'm not ready to upgrade my frontends to Myth 0.22 yet so that's why I'm holding off on upgrading to R6.02. Thanks |

Syu will upgrade the mythtv version to 0.22. Rather than just doing Syu which would likely give you problems, there is a post wth a script to run instead of Syu to make a smooth transition to 0.22. Do this when you are ready to upgrade your frontends. |

So there's no way to update everything but myth? I'm guessing the repos aren't set up like Ubuntu where you can install an old version and update the packages to the latest for that version. I guess I'm looking to get the latest X server and drivers since I'm stuck with the vesa driver right now. The sis driver was working fine in R5.5 but doesn't work at all in R6.01. |
