Post subject:  Upgrading 6.04 to 7.1 - /etc/systemconfig outdated

Hi,

trying to update 6.04 to 7.1 using the CD gives me errors during "running systemconfig" in the errorlog complaining about missing variables about Shutdowntime.

I figured out that those variables seem to be defined in /etc/systemconfig - but this file does not contain those variables on my system. I saw that this file is from 2009, so I thin it has been generated by the initial install r5 or something.

How can I regenrate that file with an updated content?

As I played around a lot with the current install I want to reinstall 7.1 using the CD to get rid of a lot on my / partition I do not need any more.

Thank you!

Regards,

Jan
