Hi,

I just upgraded from 6.04 to 7.04 and I am having a problem with my PVR-500 cards that was not present with the 6.04.

I can get the video to play and record, but for some reason it is in black and white. Things were fine with 6.x. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Thanks
Victor

Hello

It could be the cable to the TV. Try unplugging it and then try it again or even try a different cable. It could also be a problem with the card in the slot. You could remove it from the system and try it again.
If that doesn't work maybe try a different slot.

Hi,

Thanks, but I am pretty sure it is not the TV cable because the menus are in colour and if I switch to one of the channels from my HDHomerun it is in colour.

I also have a couple of frontends that are seeing the same thing from more than one tuner, that is why I am beginning to suspect something in the v4l2 driver settings.

I am wondering if there is something that changes the settings on the v4l2 driver. Is there some way to see what is being sent to the card?

Victor
