Error upgrading from 7.2 to 7.3

Post subject:  Error upgrading from 7.2 to 7.3
Followed the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=22664
Code:
sudo sv stop frontend
sudo pacman -Sy linhes-scripts
sudo upgrade_linhes.sh


I'm getting an error that says "mythtv and mythvideo are in conflict"

remove mythvideo
pacman -R mythvideo

Thanks. I kind of assumed that's what I needed to do. Apparently I also have to remove myththemes... (is there a reason this isn't handled by Cecil's instructions?)

I'm guessing oversight is the reason..don't really know for sure though

Probably because the script wasn't written for R7.4 and myth .25 which is what production is now at. If you check your version you are probably at R7.4 not R7.3.

You are correct. That makes sense, thanks.

Removing these two plugins (mythvideo and myththemes) on my two frontends allowed them to be upgraded easily as well. Really enjoying MythTV 0.25. The new theme chooser is much better and I've already got Airplay working. As far as the Airplay goes, I'd be 100x more happy if it also supported pictures, but I suppose I shouldn’t complain about free ;-)
