| Post subject: | help setting up a PXE Boot frontend |
I have been using LinHES for about six months before that I was using mythbuntu.I would like to setup PXE boot frontends but have no idea of where to even begin. Can someone point me to a guide or give me some help on how to do this? |

A little late replying but any reply is better than none hopefully.... See below for a thread stretching over 4 yrs that ended up with a config_diskless_frontend.bash script which I successfully used to configure two diskless FEs which I still run today on 7.1. My MBE is in a VM so to backup every machine in my system I simply snapshot that single VM and it captures the FEs too as they are stored on the MBE. My media is then stored in the host OS so my VM is only 25GB or something, very easy to manage. I'm thinking this script has since been dropped from R8? viewtopic.php?f=11&t=10098 |
