Trying to upgrade from 7.4 to R8 on a new hard drive using the instructions here:
http://www.linhes.org/projects/linhes/w ... _R7X_to_R8

Made it to the restoring R7 database into R8, but when I try to upload my backup archive file in the "upload file to restore" step, I get

"413 - Request Entity Too Large"

My backup archive is 14MB. I presume I need to change a config/values somewhere, but what and where?

Take a look on R8 at

Code:
/data/storage/disk0/backup/

your possibly out of space

There are three sub folders to check

Code:
mythtv_backups
system_backups
user_backups

also

Code:
df

with show space use on each partition

14MB is no where near the http upload limit. I just uploaed 400MB without any problems.
It might be browser related??

If all else fails it's possible to scp the backup file to /data/storage/disk0/backup/system_backups/
Wait 5 - 10 minutes for the webpage to notice the new file and populate the dropdown, proceed as normal

Thank you both. Sufficient space but upon a bit more investigation, I seem to be having deeper underlying hardware problems with my disk. Off to find a new scratch one to test with.
