I followed the instructions; check Code: [core] Server = http://linhes.org/repo/i686/core [extra] Server = http://linhes.org/repo/i686/extra pacman -Sy linhes-scripts ; rename memcoder; retry; then root@~$: upgrade_linhes.sh and got errors: Code: error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db: Failed to open '/var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db' error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db: Failed to open '/var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db' warning: dependency cycle detected: warning: fluxbox will be installed before its LinHES-system dependency warning: dependency cycle detected: warning: runit will be installed before its initscripts dependency warning: dependency cycle detected: warning: runit will be installed before its poweroff-scripts dependency warning: dependency cycle detected: warning: poweroff-scripts will be installed before its sysvinit dependency looking for inter-conflicts... error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies) error: unresolvable package conflicts detected :: mythtv and mythvideo are in conflict Broadcast message from root (pts/1) (Thu Jul 17 11:32:04 2014): System will reboot NOW After reboot, some process never launch, it just keeps trying, but does not succeed. This talks about using a 7.2 iso; I assume the 6.04 backups will restore from it? http://forum.linhes.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=22420 Or should I go straight to a 8.x iso? will that restore from a 6.04 backup? or only a R7 backup? Fortunately it is all summer reruns. Thanks for any advice on moving forward. |
