I followed the instructions; check
Code:
[core]
Server = http://linhes.org/repo/i686/core
[extra]
Server = http://linhes.org/repo/i686/extra

pacman -Sy linhes-scripts ; rename memcoder; retry; then
root@~$: upgrade_linhes.sh
and got errors:

Code:
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db: Failed to open '/var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db'

System will reboot NOW

After reboot, some process never launch, it just keeps trying, but does not succeed.

This talks about using a 7.2 iso; I assume the 6.04 backups will restore from it?
http://forum.linhes.org/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=22420

Or should I go straight to a 8.x iso? will that restore from a 6.04 backup? or only a R7 backup?

Fortunately it is all summer reruns.

Thanks for any advice on moving forward.
