Hey Guys, does anyone have an idea how to get the Terratec Cinergy t² USB DVB-T Card to work in LinHES 6.03? The Channel Scan doesn't find any channels. It gets everywhere timeouts. But in Ubuntu it works out of the box. any ideas? |

try increasing the timeout time. My card required a longer timeout length. It's in the setup menu in the card section there is a button I think labeled recording settings. Hope that helps. |

I doubled that already. I can see the signal going up and down on some channels but it keeps saying "no lock" and skipps all channels with a signal timeout. Does anyone use this card? In Kaffeine it works out of the box when i select the right transponder area for me. |

The import of an existing channels.conf still seems to be out of order. |

now I got the import to work: I used the scanaid tool from Johannes Bauer as explained here but in Garmen. With that tool I created a Scanning Table that got fed into the scan tool. Than I used the command Code: scan -a 1 Scanlist.txt > channels.conf to create a channels.conf with by local providers.
That worked, and after importing that file into the channel scanner of mythtv it really found channels in Mythtv - wohhhaaa!!! BUT - now i can't switch to the new input, it stays black or crashes the frontend when I change to DVB-T input. Any ideas? And still the question - Doesn't anyone use these Terratec Cinergy² DVB-T USB Box in Mythtv here? I bought some time ago this one because it works out of the box in kaffeine - there is no installation needed... |
