| Post subject: | Sound Card Locked Up After Using MythMusic |
Hi, New 6.0.3 LinHES install here, using OSS, and SPDIF out. Audio works great in TVs, Videos, DVDs, etc. and even works in MythMusic, BUT I've found that when I play some tracks in MythMusic and then return to any other part of MythTV, it's like the sound is muted and the only thing I can figure out to fix it is to reboot. Any ideas on what about MythMusic is grabbing hold of my sound card and refusing to give it up? Thanks. |

Sometimes firefox will do this to me I just re-launch kill the flash page and quit again and it usually lets go the second time. I've also had a problem where i'll start a recording and there will be no sound exit out and start the recording again and it works. |

I had a similar problem that was sporadic. I don't have a fix but, last year I moved from OSS ro ALSA and, I have to say, I don't think I have seen the problem happen again since... |
