I'm looking to upgrade my current MythBox - which I haven't touched in a while. One of the things I'm considering pulling is my PVR250 in favor of a PCHD3000, but that's the IR Remote I use. What IR receivers have people had good luck with LinHES? I'm using a Harmony 550 programmable remote so bonus points for things like the Hauppauge Grey remote that are already in Logitech's database. Have a serial port/header on your motherboard? I've used http://www.irblaster.info/receiver.html with KnoppMyth and Harmony remotes. Not currently using KM/LinHES so I don't know what adjustments you would have to make, if any. |

A Streamzap is pretty much out of the box in LinHes for a long time. The receiver works with many remotes. Also, if you already have the Hauppauge remote, just use a serial port receiver with it (you can build or buy on ebay...) |

The Hauppauge remotes also work with the IR receiver in a SiliconDust HDHomeRun. |
