So if you use your mouse in LinHES outside of MythTV you probably know that there is a tiny app called unclutter that makes your mouse disappear. Well if you want the mouse to stay on the screen longer or need less shaking to wake him up just.....
-----[EDIT]--------
Make a new file called /etc/unclutter.cfg and give it these two parameters
Code:
idle=30
jitter=50

----[/EDIT]--------
jitter and idle are what you want to pay attention to . For example I set my jitter to 50 and my idle to 30. That makes the mouse stay on the screen for about 30 second after you stop moving it. lowering the jitter length means that I don't have to move the mouse as far on screen to wake it up or keep it from falling asleep.

If you change it in /usr/LH/bin/unclutter-toggle.sh you will lose your changes on the next update. The way to customize unclutter is documented at: http://linhes.org/projects/linhes/wiki/ ... #Unclutter

When I am using the mouse alot I just disable unclutter with the hotkey Alt+u and then turn it back on with the same hotkey when I am done. This is described in both the Wiki and the Alt+h help screen.
