TLDR: force HDMI legacy mode to HDMI 1.4 for improved video latency. I have a TCL S525 it's a 4K TV and I noticed some lag between my cursor movements on screen and what my hand was doing. I found a setting in my TV to change the HDMI version to 1.4 which is older than 2.0 and doesn't support 4k 60FPS. This improved my video latency greatly. I still have an offset of -150ms for the audio with this TV. |
