Has anyone had any luck setting up NFS with a Windows Home Server? If so, could you recount the success that you have had, and how you went about it? I'm running 6.03. Ordinarily I would just put the media I have on my LinHes backend, but I'm currently HDD challenged thanks to the Gods of Economics. :( :x

Use SAMBA to share with Windows. NFS only works with *nix (as far as I know).

I'll second that. I haven't used Windows Home Server, but NFS using unix services on Windows 2003 Server was dog slow. We switched everything around to SAMBA with much better results.

Thanks fellas. I have used SAMBA, but was curious about setting up NFS. If you don't think it is very viable, then I will not pursue it further.

Greetings from Michigan.
