My Myth box is shut down most of the time and starts either manually or by ACPI to record.

I have set up a Sheevaplug as a server running continuously. From my Android phone connecting to the Sheevaplug with ssh I can now start the Myth box with wol, then access Mythweb to modify recording schedules. The only problem I have is I can't work out how to get the Myth box to shutdown via Mythwelcome when I am finished. Shutdown via Mythwelcome performs the check that it is clear to shutdown, sets the wake-up time and in my case does some other disk and database maintenance.

Is there a single command-line command that will take the machine from mythfrontend to mythwelcome? I suppose I could write a script to do all the functions of mythwelcome, but I would have to work that out.

Code:
pkill mythfrontend
You need to be the user running mythfrontend or root.

Thanks for that alien, works a treat.

It's obvious really, but I was trying things like "mythfrontend stop" which is probably a hang over from Knoppmyth.
