With my newly upgraded machine running well I am a bit uncertain about how to manage the backups. The /data/storage/disk0/backup directory contains 3 directories. The daily backups are all stored in the system_backups directory. I assume the other 2 are to be used as I see fit.

How have other people used used these?
Are backups other than the system backups required/advisable?

In previous versions, backups consisted of both mythconverg.sql and savedfiles.tar.gz. Does the new backup.date.tgz store all the same information?

Oops! Sorry, I missed that sentence.

I am still interested to know what the other directories are for.
