I had been using the Flurry xscreensaver with R8.1.1 but after updating to R8.2, it no longer works. Although it's listed in the Screensaver Settings screen, it doesn't appear to be installed. It actually looks like all the OpenGL screen savers are missing from /usr/lib/xscreensaver. Does anyone know how to install them?

I was able to fix this by doing the following:
Code:
wget http://mirror.grig.io/archlinux/extra/os/x86_64/xscreensaver-5.32-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
sudo pacman -U xscreensaver-5.32-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

It is not recommended to mix arch pkgs with LinHES. In most cases it should work but it can have some bad consequences. In this instance you should use the LinHES version of the pkg.
Code:
pacman -S xscreensaver

I already had the LinHES xscreensaver package but as I explained in the first post, it's missing the GL screensavers.

A safer alternative is to take the LH PKGBUILD and compare it to the ARCH PKGBUILD to see where differences are and then to modify the LH PKGBUILD to provide the files you need.

@graysky
Thank you for the advice although I don't know how to do that. I do know that installing Arch packages in LinHES is not recommended but I waited a whole week for someone to reply to my question and I was going through flurry withdrawal. I initially tried copying the missing xscreensaver files from R8.1.1 to R8.2 but that didn't work. When I installed the Arch package (after making a full backup, of course), I discovered that R8.2 is also missing the glu library, which pacman installed from the LinHES repo. If you'd like to help me document a more appropriate fix that others can use, I'm all for it. I do still have one frontend that needs to be fixed.

It looks like the the last time the LH xscreensaver pkg was built it was missing opengl support. I have created an issue: http://linhes.org/issues/983
