I have had MythTV working beautifully for about 1 month. I had recently purchased an IR blaster, so I am in the process of configuring my myth box to work with my digital cable. I upgraded to R5C7 to configure the IR Blaster. Now, when I use my SVideo in (out from my Motarolla box, into my SVideo in on my PVR 350, then out through my SVID from my 350 to my TV), I get nothing but a black screen. Is there some configuration you need to let myth TV know that you switched from coax to SVID?

Please let me know if you need more information.

Thanks in advance.

See the post install notes about what you need to do for your IVTV cards. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10116

Thanks. I read the post and I am still hitting a wall...

Even before the upgrade, I tried to put the cable box in the "loop" of components. Everything is working 100% if I use the coax input on the PVR card. As soon as I switch to the PVR 350 SVID input (from the cable box to the PVR card), I just get a black screen.

I should also not that I also went into mythtv-setup and associated my video source with my svideo input connection.

You only associated it with one of the inputs right? Actually if you didn't purge all of your PVR capture cards and recreate them, there's a chance you still need to do that too. A lot of people seem to think I'm "kidding" about that part or something... :?

I did associate with only one input (Svideo 0). Is there any different that needs to be done when setting up the input connections or the video sources in mythtv-setup?

When I view with SVideo input, it now shows "wavy" lines across the screen.

Some things that seem odd to me is that I can still "change" the channel using my PVR 350 remote on the mythbox (note: I don't have the IR Blaster set up as of yet. I wanted to get Video working first....)

Thanks in advance...

Let me ask this question.. maybe it will get me closer...

I have MythTV working through normal (analog) cable, using the Tuner0 input on the PVR350. If I just want to get a picture using the SVIDEO0 input, I am going to hook my coax cable into my digital cable box, to my SVID input on my PVR card, and out my SVID output to my TV. I've attached a video source to my SVideo0 input connector in Mythtv-setup, and I still don't see a picture (just horizontol lines scrolling up vertically on the screen). I am missing a step somewhere?

Just to note:... I have the audio working just fine... the video just displays horizontal lines (mostly red lines) moving vertically down the screen.
