So, I listen to a lot of music at work, and didn't want to copy my MP3s everywhere, I found flamplayer, installed it on my mythbox, and made a slight change to the code so it could traverse directories, and now I have a great way to access and listen to all my music wherever I am. Though if I could find similar open source software, I'd rather plug it into MythWeb. Just thought I'd pass this on for those of you who feel browsing the mp3s through mythweb wasn't quite good enough. |

I use Slimserver for this, and it works great. I can easily listen to my music through my work's rather constricting firewalls. |

MythTV .21 should have this functionality built in. You can check out SVN to see what it looks like however there are some issues with this feature and KnoppMyth's apache security last I looked. |
