After struggling with xe to try and get segacd emulation working I ran across this thread:

I went ahead and tried to install is and it worked on my R5F1 system. Almost right off the bat I could run sewer shark, although the audio was disabled for some reason (still working on that). So all you old school genesis people have at it and chime in if it works for you.

As a sidenote, was zsnes removed from R5F1? I didn't find it in /usr/local/bin/
