When I was setting up my system (which includes a dvb-s card) I was searching this board for info on the 22KHz "tone" switch which can be added in the diseqc tree within the capture card setup and found nothing.

In a nutshell, when you add a 22KHz tone switch to your "tree" in the diseqc menu, the first line after the switch will be the port with tone OFF and the second line after the switch will be the port with the tone ON.

I didn't see anything in the on-screen menu that tells us this, but my test showed that this is how it is setup.

The only way I could get my tone switch working was to change "LNB Preset:" to "Custom", and "LNB Type:" to "Universal." Then set "LNB LOF Switch (MHz):" to 11700 to turn the tone on or 12750 to tun the tone off.
