Since webmin was setup in the build environment, you'll need to change the password in order to using it. #/usr/share/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin root password Note:password should be the password you want to use. vi(or your favorite editor) /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf comment or modify allow 127.0.0.1 Don't forget to start webmin. #/etc/init.d/webmin start Now you can connect to it: https://ip-of-myth:10000 You do know how to have it start on boot right?

Thanks, cecil. I can't live without my webmin. Usually I install as root from rpm and don't need to do any config. Your post was very timely and helpful. -- Alan |
