I've put together a complete how to for a single pvr 500 from installing knoppmyth all the way to watching and recording TV!

Great post, thank you. I'm leaning towards a 500 for a new build but I noticed the card is an MCE card, and as such doesn't come with a remote. What did you use for a remote?

At present, I don't have a remote. I'm not even hooked up to my tv, I just watch on the computer monitor.
