I like the blue theme, but the highlighted circle on the screen didn't pop out. I modifed button_on.png so it looks like this now:

If you like it, save the png below and replace the one under the blue theme directory. :)

Thanks Dave - I'm going to give it a shot on my new box I finished building today. Your button looks good from the preview image and I'm sure it'll help make things easier to navigate.

Thanks for taking the time to share your work!

Mike

Cool, I'm glad you like it. I wonder if it could be offered to the myth guys. If it got in there, I wouldn't have to update the button after every upgrade. ;)

i also changed the color of the Next buttons in setup.. because even on a monitor it was hard to tell if the cursur was on Next..or Back..or Finish.. changing it was just editing a text file in the themes directory.. im away from my box at the moments ill repost a better explination

OK gr8nash, I've started using the new blue theme button and I like it. Any chance you can come good with your promise to provide details of how to make the button highlight a bit more visible?

I'd say that's a significant improvement, thank you. The highlighting of all those buttons is pretty indistinct.

The info is probably all around the place elsewhere, but the themes are in /usr/share/mythtv/themes

Explanation on the next/back would be great too!
