Well, after following many mindless howtos I found on here and on google. I managed to figure get this running on Mandriva 2005le.

I decided that it was time for a decent article on how to properly setup a pvr-150 without all the heresay and bs people will tell you.

Hopefully this will help someone so they don't have to go through the aggrivation I did.

I have followed my own article to the T on different computers and worked perfectly. Just follow it, and use some common sense and you will be fine.
