Hi,

I have done some testing and searching myself prior to this. I guess it would be handy to have some kind of CPU/settings database to give people an idea of what settings to use and what kind of CPU usage people should be seeing.

Anyway, as my sig says I have a Celeron D320 2.4Ghz. I have LiveTV set to 480x480 (I realise this is prob off - I re-installed the other day) RTJPEG with quality of 220 (audio is uncompressed 32000) and I am seeing about 50% CPU usage when watching live TV.

This is fine except I record using MPEG4 (512x384 4200bitrate max=2 min=15, uncompressed 32000 audio - 25% usage) and the other night I noticed LiveTV sound corruption when the recording was going on in the background (DMA is on).

So, is this usage about right for my CPU? Also, what settings do other people use for their LiveTV and default profiles (in the UK)...?

Thanks, Graham
