Here is the log file as requested. I was able to get this working, and it was either one of two things. I had been creating the User Jobs through the mythweb interface prior to my posting (and the following was the log file generated). However, when I exited the frontend, started the myth-setup GUI with Alt-s to double-check that Mythweb was actually updating the user job scripts (they were fine), the experimentalist in me tried this....I retyped the user job code (/usr/local/bin/myth2ipod -cut %DIR% %FILE%), pressed the "Finish" button, and exited the GUI. I restarted the backend with alt-3 and then retried the Encode for iPod job and it worked.

So either a backend restart did the trick or mythweb is not a good way to add stuff to the user jobs and this step needs to be always done through the myth-setup GUI.

In either case, I am good to go (now I should go out and get an iPod) but for those interested I have attached the log file I referred to in my previous post.

Thanks for your interest and I hope this helps someone else.

Thanks for the tip, had the same issue, just restarting the backend through alt-3 did the trick for me.

This is working for me in the new version of myth, all I had to do was edit the host ip in the script. What I haven't been able to figure out is how to set the bit rate.

I have found that I should edit the MP4.pm file rather than the iPod.pm file in /usr/local/share/nuvexport/export/ffmpeg

I can change the size to 480, but I can't seem to up the video bit rate. I have 500000 in the default, but don't seem to get more than the standard 200k....?
