Hey, I was wondering if anybody knows how you'd go about hooking a SNES controller to a PC through linux? I wanna get wireless controllers so I can play roms easier, but I haven't read anything about these anywhere. Thanks.

this may be a bit late, but SNES pads (and many other systems' controllers)
are supported by linux's standard joystick driver, see
Documentation/input/joystick-parport.txt for wiring info and module parameters
or on the web, try:
http://www.ibiblio.org/peanut/Kernel-2. ... arport.txt

i've tried this myself in combination with snes9x some years ago, it works
beautifully and really makes a featureful emulater better than the real thing

I use a wireless logitech Playstation adapter w/ a Radio Shack USB adapter to hook up to my PC or PS... works pretty well even with moving obsticles (otherwise known as children)...
