I wanted to record digital audio channels. I have recorded it as a normal recording but the size is pretty large since it captures video (eventhough I have the video quality at the lowest). I want to capture just the audio at MP3 128kb quality.

Is this possible? Is it possible not to record the video (just capture audio at mp3 128kb).

Thanks in advance.

I don't think it is possible. Why not use a utility to seperate the audio from the video?
Code:
man mencoder
Or google...

RESOLVED - thanks cesman for guiding me in the right direction.

I use mencoder to convert to MP3 and then mplayer to dump the audio file. Now I will automate this by a script and post recording job.
