Hi, I was upgrading from R5D1 to R5E50, and I have been having lots of permission issues. I see that looking at the /etc/groups on the two installs why. R5D1 mythtv:x:105: R5E50 ntp:x:105: As an example. So all my old /myth recordings have the wrong permissions. This is giving me other problems I believe. Is it normal for these permissions to change between installations. I dont remember seeing this before. |

If you ran the autoupgrade script then something like the following command should have been run automatically: Code: chown -r mythtv:mythtv /myth/*
You can try running that yourself as root. Make sure to change ownership of files in /myth/mythweb to www-data. And fix other directories that might not like being owned by mythtv also. |
