Well I really like knoppmyth but I need to change a couple of things in the kernel (higmem support 64G to be exact) and so I need to recompile. I can get most of the way but am having problems with my initrd, I have followed these instructions http://www.mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewto ... 3193#83193 but was hoping someone else out there have re-compiled their kernel and could help me out. I know how to do the kernel compile and by the instructions a make install_modules, I also know how to modify lilo. So what is the best way to do this, I would welcome any directions/help thanks. |
