Hi, I tried to search this but could not find any answers. I have a windows machine which has an external hard drive attached to it. I have stored all my pictures/music/home videos on it. I want to access them via my myth box. What do I do? How do I configure the font end to talk to the other machine? I guess I will have to install an ftp/http server at the main computer and host my content from there, then configure mythtv to read that data via http or ftp port. Also, can I bring the external hard drive and hook it up to mythbox? And enable mythtv to read that data. What configurations will I need to perform in this situation? Any idea/help would be much appreciated! |

cando, STOP! You don't need to install anything, everything that you need is already included in both KnoppMyth and Windows.
