I recently blew away my R5D1 install and installed fresh from R5F1. I created a new source and scanned for channels. The channels are seen but their names are all "unknown".
The datadirect files download fine also but once the box is up and running the program guide does not know that channel 3 is "cbs", or channel 14 is "hbo".
How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance!

You can fix it manually with a web browser suitably pointing to your ip address, and selecting mythweb.
Edit the channels and add the appropriate channel ids.
If you don't know what I mean I can explain further.

Mike, I am having the same problem and unfortunately I really could use step-by-step instructions on how to do so.

OK, I created a flash movie for changing general channel settings. You can clearly see how to do what you want.

Mike, thanks but now you have me completely confused. Where do I find these options shown in your flash movie? I don't see anything like that on my KM box.

From a web browser. Surf to your myth box's ip address. The movie at http://www.better-access.com/movies/myt ... ording.htm explains it.
