My myth box is connected to my HDTV. My HDTV supports 720p and 1080i, but does not accept 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 etc that most Linux games want to output at.

Are there any Linux games that support 1920x1080 or 1280x720 resolution? The only one that I've found so far is Planet Penguin Racer. I know that I can get MAME to work, but I'm looking for some standalone games.

I'm not really into the newest crop of games, but quake3 had widescreen support. I think IOquake3 supports a variety of HD resolutions.
