Hi Guys

Have been playing very successfully over the last few days updating the video sections of the database using mysql scripts, ie. Director Name, year, duration, coverfile, plot etc.....

I am now looking at doing something a bit more demanding. I want to manually schedule a recording with an SQL statement, but just do not know which table in mythconverg to make the relevant calls into.

This is part of a bigger project, and I will obviously feed any findings back when it is complete

Thx

Have you had a look at any of the MythWeb code to see what it calls out when scheduling recordings?

you might want to look into this link for TVWish. I hve never used it but it takes a list of movies that you would like to record and schedules them whenever they are on.

It must have the required SQL embeded in there somewhere....

it may be exactly what you want
