Everything was working great, then I tried to setup myth to allow a MediaMVP to boot an image...now I can't watch LiveTV It just goes black and freezes the machine, can't even ssh in without a reboot. I can't find anything in the logs. Ideas? |

Ok, so it's not live tv exactly, it's whenever tuner 2 tries to record. Unfortunately, I found this out by scheduling two shows...now my machine locks up, I reboot, and it freezes as soon as it starts recording. How can I boot the machine to remove the recordings without the backend starting? |

Hi, Even if the machine appears to be "frozen" it may only be one of the "ends" that is at issue. I would try to ssh (or gasp, putty) into it to look around at the logs. Also I would try to cancel the recordings via mythweb. Hardware wise, power off and pull the tuner card(s) That will stop the recording process so you can examine logs. Mike |

Can't do any of that, ssh, mythweb, none of it works, the machine is frozen. |

Hi Try removing just one tuner card, then swap and try again. Could be a bad card screwing with the irqs. Mike |
