Hi all,

Since auto-upgrading to R5.5, i've noticed that the myth music visualisations (aka eye candy) dont appear to work on my box. I've only noticed it over the weekend, and havent had a good look at it yet. However, i was wondering if anyone else had encountered this?

I used to be able (in R5F27) to press "6" on the remote and cycle through the visualisation types, then "4" to full screen it. From my quick look, it seemed that only "random" was available, and that was just a black screen? It's certainly no biggie, as R5.5 is what i would term a "ball tearer" of a release, everything just worked (current post excepted).

Ideas?

Cheers,

Nathan

Hi All,

Just was reading the following http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythMusic#Visualizations and it seems that there is a comma separated list of themes in the mythmusic setup interface. Looks to be the first place to take a squizz at.

Cheers,

Nathan

Hi,

Life is even easier, there is a menu set up under the music plyer settings. Just go in there and add a few. Test and add a few more as there are some depending on your hardware will cause the fe to exit.

Hi,

Sorry to see about the display issue.

Many of the LibVisual files bite me, bumpscope and corona are ok on my box.

It's a shame as some are really great :)

Best of luck.

yeh, you'd think that theyd pinch a tv, and probably not even see a projector hanging from the ceiling! They just yanked it out, so now ive got a threaded VGA cable thats no good to me, and i'll have to chase a new one down the wall cavity... on the plus side, i'll get me a new projector toy, im looking at the benq mp622, not sure if anyone has any review/recommendation in that area...

Looking forward to the new visualisations, carona sounds interesting... but its probably not what it sounds like!

Cheers,

Nathan
