I have been running my box perfectly for quite a while now and suddenly in the last week I have started experiencing seriously degraded video quality - static, slow tune etc.

I tried rescanning my HD channels but mythbackend crashes everytime!

Anybody else experiencing similar issues?

Details of my box are listed below

I have a DVICO card
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz on a ABIT IP 35 board
2 GB of RAM
Myth version - 0.21.20080304-1 (Knoppmyth R5.5)

Hi There,

I ran into what sounds like a similar problem with comcast cable. Check your cables, mine was a loose connection at the cable box (it could also be at your card). Make sure the RG-6 cable is more than just finger tight (I have 2 small boys and have found cable just come loose...go figure). Anyways, if that is not it follow these steps in this link and it should solve your problem.

good luck.
