| Post subject: | Mixing Stable and Testing Repositories |
In order to get some of the bleeding edge features Cecil has recently added to LinHES (hulu) I switched over to the testing repositories for my frontend. My backend is a separate machine and so far there have not been any killer backend features that have made me setup the testing repositories on my backend. Here's my question: what's the bigger risk? Running the testing repositories on my backend, or having a mixed-repository system? Or am I flying by the seat of my pants either way?

At the moment, it is safe. However, my hope you should note, 0.22 will hit testing first. If you upgrade, you'll have issues w/ your frontend(s) connecting. |

Thanks Cecil. I'll be wary of that and check the PKGBUILD before updating. BTW, did you plan on creating a link to the pkgbuild page and the flyspray page on the webpage now that R6 is official? |
