Has anybody had problems with using a USB 3 external drive (on 7.2 or 7.4)? I bought a Seagate 2TB USB 3 drive and connected to one of 2 USB 3 ports on my machine. I get the following error:

xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: ERROR: unexpected command completion code 0x0
xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: Timeout while waiting for a slot
usb 5-2: device not accepting address 3, error -62
xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: Bad Slot ID 1
xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: Could not allocate xHCI USB device data structures
hub 5-0:1.0: couldn't allocate port 2 usb_device

If I reboot the machine, it will work the first time I turn it on ( usb 5-2: new SuperSpeed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd) but fail every time thereafter. It works fine in a USB 2 port. I have seen a lot of issues on several blogs but have seen some successes with newer kernels...

More info... I thought that maybe this was specific to Seagate so tried a WD USB 3 device... Same problem. This seems to be kernel related. Anybody else?
