zsnes is the only snes emulator i know of for linux that works great fullscreen. problem is that in fast movement on screen it doesnt sync the screen properly. its ends up looking like waves rolling verticly down the screen. I recently installed Fedora and zsnes.. same thing, so know it has nothing to do with anything knoppmyth. I have Googled the crap outta this subject, also i have read everything i could find in the zsnes forum. only a few people reported this exact problem and no real resolution found. So last ditch effort im throwing it out there, is everyone else seeing this problem?? anyone managed to fix it?

So, how would I go about setting this up in place of the current emulator if I wanted to try it?

Code:
apt-get install zsnes

then go into setup /media settings / games / general setup /

change the path and enmulator to zsnes..
be sure to change both.
now goto a command prompt and using the mythtv username enter zsnes and set it up.. on the very far right of menu click "save cfg" be sure to setup full screen while your there
