Anyone here have experience getting their coax digital out to work on a nforce3 board? I just swap out my nforce2 board with a nforce3 (Epox 9nda3) and no matter what I do, the coax spdif refuses to have output. It was working fine on the nforce2 board. I tried 1.0.8 w/ no luck so I will try with 1.0.9rc2 tonite and if that still doesn't work, then I'll swap in my SBlive with spdif passthro. |

Did you ever get this working, I have a nforce3 board with optical out that I havnt been able to get digital passthrough to work on, despite many a "how-to" folowing session. |

I tried over and over following guide after guide. No joy. I finally just bought a Turtle Beach Riviera from newegg to handle my digital audio. I haven't installed it yet, but this card seems very well supported for digital out and it was cheap. It's optical only, but converters are available from monoprice to handle that if you need coax. My amp supports both, so I'm good to go. |
