I have tried putting the zip files in the snes directory and unzipping them. any ideas?

have you found a solution for your SNES problem with MygthGame ?

can it do zip file?? i didnt think so..but i dont know for sure if i have ever tried.. mythgame also doesnt like roms with bad checksums.. so it wont add them to the database.. i >>>>HATE<<<<< that feature.. I would make sure it can use zip files.. and finaly make sure you "scan for games" and finaly.. finaly make sure your snes roms directory is setup correct.

I suspect the "scanning for games" bit is the bit that he missed. My mame roms are zip files. No need to unzip them.

If I look in the mythGame configuration menu, I see that SNES binary location is /usr/bin/snes9x. If I "ls" this directory, I can't find snes9x. Do I have to install snes9x ?
