| Post subject: | Ndiswrapper causes crash |
I'v got a myth frontend box that I'm hoping to get up and running. I setup Ndiswrapper with my cards drivers, and entered the Modprobe Ndiswrapper command. Then, when I use iwconfig wlan essid "mynet" command, the link light comes on and seems to be functioning normally. However, after 1-2 minutes, my computer locks up. I've tried disabling the eth0 card in the bios, but it doesn't make a difference. My card is the Dlink 510 with the Marvell chipset, and I'm using the asus WL-138g drivers on a fresh install of 5A16, if it makes a difference. |

I've seen this a few times myself. Sorry I cannot be of more help other than to state yes, it is an issue. As I don't regularly use wireless, I cannot really track it down. Your best bet is the ndiswrapper mailing list/forum (it either exists). |
