So i got xine to play dvds when im not using mythtv and the playback is good on my lcd. i switched to tv-out using a pvr-350 card (no more lcd)and when im using mythtv and click on play dvd xine starts but i get messages about loss of frames. i read the xine faqs and i have dma enabled. i'm using version 16 of knoppix mythtv and i have a m10000 (1.0 ghz) processor with 512mb ram. i set up mythtv to use low cpu usage and i doubt that mythtv and xine could be using all my system resources. i'm also not recording anything while attempting to watch a dvd.
any ideas??

I probably deleted it as it was posted in KnoppMyth > Installation.

ok short verson pvr350=noxv=slow playback outside myth.
latest dev drivers have xv, but are 10' past the bleeding edge so expect problems.
