| Post subject: | Onboard Lan Does Not Work |
I have an abit is7 and knoppmyth will not recognize the onboard lan network adapter. same goes for my linksys pci network card. any ideas here? the onboard works fine when i install ubuntu linux but knoppmyth gives me nothing. pvr is useless w/o the internet to get all my channel data. pc specs: p4 2.6c abit is7 bfg 6800gtoc pvr250 |

well if you have the ubutnu or knoppix livecd's then you could boot them and see what module it is using and then try modprobe modulename netcardconfig if that works add modulename to /etc/modules |

i'll try that out. fyi i'm a huge linux noob so i havent the slightest how to add this module or really where to look... |
