Post subject:  apt-get update error

Hello,
I wanted to install a new kernel witch support my technisat dvb-t card.
I try to update apt with the command: apt-get update, but i get some errors.
Some servers are dead.
its not possible to download a kernel higher than 2.6.9 but i need minimum 2.6.10.
Last time it was no problem ca 5 monthes ago.
What can i do to get the kernel 2.6.10.

The solution to the apt-get update errors can be found here:

Whether that will allow you to apt-get install a new kernel, I don't know.

You are probably better off updating your kernel manually. There are instructions on here somewhere I am sure. I should know I wrote some of them.

BTW, the debian kernel packages are now linux-image instead of kernel-image. you should be able to find at least 2.6.12.
