I'm running R5A26 and for some reason, certain channels don't get sound. Up around the 50s, the odd channels have no sound, but the evens do. Anyway have any idea where to start on troubleshooting this? |

Who is your cable provider? Are channels 5 & 6 scrambled? |

I have been having similar sound issue it takes 30 seconds for the sound to come on sometimes. No particular channels can't find a commonality. Have you tried pausing for 5 seconds and then playing? That seems to work for me sometimes. Craig |

Comcast cable in New Jersey. I'm using the coax input on a PVR-150 (non-MCE) and I'm set for the us-cable-hrc frequency table, which is the one Comcast told me to use. I haven't tried the 5 second pause thing yet...I'll try that tonight.I don't have this problem with my regular cable or my tivo. I wonder what is causing it. |
