How can I reload XF86Config-4 with out rebooting? I'd like to try different settings in XF86Config-4, but the only way I know to get them to take effect is to reboot, which takes so long for each trial!

Is there a short cut?
Thanks!

As root, run /etc/init.d/gpm restart. This will take about 3 seconds.

<edit>
That should be gdm not gpm. Not sure if it was a typo or freudian slip.

It is GDM. You can also <ctrl><alt><bkspc>.

<ctrl><alt><bkspc> sounds cool! Is there a cheat sheet of other short cuts available somewhere?

Thanks again.
